My mission is to bring joy and inspiration to others through belly dancing!

Gabriela is a professional belly dancer from Toronto, Canada. Her cheerful dance style and unique musical interpretation have made her a sought-after performer in the Middle Eastern community.

She has loved to dance all her life and began to learn belly dancing at the young age of 14. Gabriela received most of her training in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 2015, she graduated as a belly dancing instructor, specialized in Egyptian style, from Academia de Danzas Arabes Maiada. There she received an intense training in belly dance technique, Arabic rhythms, ballet, jazz and history of belly dance. Driven to expand her knowledge, she has taken lessons with world-renowned instructors such as Randa Kamel, Tito Seif, Mohamed Shahin, Gamal Seif, Dariya Mitskevich, Amir Thaleb, Brenda Jadiyeh, Jillina Carlano, Saida Helou, Antonella Rodriguez and Matias Hazrum.

Along with performing at private events, such as weddings and birthdays, Gabriela belly dances regularly at restaurants and festivals all across Ontario. She was Director of Entertainment and Principal Dancer at The Sultan's Tent, downtown Toronto, for 9 years. She has been part of several stage productions with the belly dancing companies Ballet Al Mansuraht and Afroditas Company and performed live with singer Tony Mouzayek in Brasil and with musicians Mario Kirlis and Brian Brandan in Argentina. Gabriela has also taught international workshops and performed in belly dance festivals such as Arabica Oriental Festival.

She began to teach belly dancing in 2015 and is happy to continue teaching classes in-person and online.

Empowering others through this beautiful form of art is her greatest passion.
